Here are some reasons why your surfaces may be assigned :
Some of the reasons it could be :
- The setting "Prevent the assignment of the same surfaces" may be turned on. Which means that if a player just played on that surface, it will hold off assigning it to them. (How to check that, under Continuous Play, click on the pencil of the Continuous Play group. Check the setting : Prevent. is it checked or not, do you want it checked or not)
- Your Start button is not turned on i the Continuous Play group
- You don't have the bracket in the continuous play group.
- Waiting for an opponent. (When in doubt, you can check the Show Matches ready to play under Continuous Play page. These matches have two opponents that are waiting. If there are matches waiting here, you know that is not the issue. But if could be the time they are schedule to start their next match. KEEPING IN MIND, that this doesn't mean that the next person is line is the next person to receive a surface. You can have a match that ends up finishing and getting a table before them as they should be playing before. Does that make sense?
- System is set to check for surfaces 30 minutes before the scheduled time. You don't want to give too much time or else it can skip some matches as later ones are ready. And not too little time where the system only checks 5 minutes prior. (20ish minutes is usually a good set time)
- Surface being unchecked in Continuous play, or not in the continuous play group.
