? What it Does
The Surface Check-in feature allows players or teams to check in upon arrival at their designated table, board, or playing surface.
When a player scans the QR Code, their presence is confirmed.
The opponent is automatically notified once the first scan is done.
? Step-by-Step Setup
1. Enable Surface Check-in for the Event
Go to:
Menu > Event > Event
Select your Event
Click the ✏️ Pencil icon to edit
Go to the Surface Check-in section
Check the box: Enable Surface Check-in ✅
This will add a new Surface Check-in button under each table/board/surface.
2. Generate and Print QR Codes
Go to:
Menu > Manage > Surfaces/Locations > Surfaces
(e.g. Tables, Boards, etc.)Select the surfaces for which you want QR Codes
Click Generate QR Codes
You may customize the info displayed below each QR code before printing
⚠️ Important:
If you generate the QR codes again, new codes will be created, and old ones will stop working.
Currently, there is no “permanent” QR code option, so always use the latest codes for each event.

? Track Who Has Checked In
To monitor which players have checked in:
Go to:
Menu > Manage > Schedules/Charts > Calendar
Add the following columns:
Home Check-in date
Away Check-in date
This helps you quickly spot which tables are missing check-ins.
