Making things public has three stages!
Event:
You can make your event public, this will allow players to see that your tournament or league is being hosted on CompuSport. (You can keep it hidden while you set it up, you choose when you are ready)
Divisions:
When ready, you will want to make your divisions public. The sooner the better, because this will send notifications that they are registered in your league or tournament. This allows players to insure they are well registered in the right divisions. For them to identify their player profile to help them score keep for example or simply to receive the information they need for your event.
Brackets/Round-Robins:
This is the last one to make public, once you make your bracket or round-robin public, players will know who they play against, where and when they play as they will receive notifications on the app. (If signed up and accepted to receive notifications). This is usually last minute to make sure you don't have any changes to make.
